CVE ID Syntax vote
=====================================================
VOTING BALLOT
=====================================================
FIRST CHOICE:
OPTION A
REASONS (first choice):
Option A keeps a fixed length CVE format; it is therefor easily handled
read and decoded and keeps the same familiarity of the current CVE format.
While this limit us to a million CVEs, I'm hoping we don't hit
that before we hit year 10,000.

SECOND CHOICE:
OPTION B
REASONS (second choice):
This is no longer a fixed length CVE identifier; however, but it very
familiar.
*****************************************************
LAST CHOICE:
OPTION C
REASONS (last choice):
While the check-digit may help us preventing typos, if there is no
machine checking the digit, it makes little sense, e.g., when writing
a readme for a patch and typos are more likely because more digits need
to be transcribed.
